We use D drive at work because it's massive but now we are having all these issues with vray and not all 3ds Max users know how to troubleshoot such minor problems. ![]() ![]() I find that quite a few software seems to struggle with installation paths when it's something other than C drive. Created high end 3D renders using 3ds Max and vRay - Developed low poly models based on high poly originals using 3ds Max - Textured 3D assets with Photoshop, Mudbox, and Substance Painter -. Free plugins for all major software and renderers including Cycles, Vray, Corona, Octane, Redshift & Arnold. V-Ray Asset Editor > Materials (right-click) V-Ray Asset Editor > Create Asset (left-click)> Materials Options There are some context options that V-Ray materials have. To add a preset to the current Revit project, simply drag and drop a preset material from the Library into the Asset Editor's Material List. The material library is accessed by expanding the Asset Editor with the Material Editor tab open. The solution for me was, to add (similar like Aleksandar said above) the path:īut the path was already there, so I added also the path to the subfolder of the Vray Material Library: the "assets"-folder itself. Expand the left panel for Materials if needed, and at the bottom left, click the folder icon ('Adds a new file system location').
